Academy Amelia Kononenko and Maria Terpeliuk into the Finals at Dubai tournament

Amelia Kononenko won her fourth match and the third one with a score of 6/0, 6/0. On Thursday, in the final match of group D of the tournament for girls born in 2011, a student of the program Avant-Garde played with Namibian tennis player Carmen du Toit, who also had three wins in three meetings held.So, at stake in this fight was not only the fate of the first place in the group, but also a ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament. Amelia spent it very casually, as if not in training, having dealt with her opponent - 6/0, 6/0. Thus, for the four matches played at the qualifying stage, the “academician” gave only one game to her rivals: in the previous meeting with the Croatian Lora Milkovich - 6/0, 6/1. Three other fights were won "under zero".
Mariia Terpeliuk made it to the Finals as well, in her age group (girls born in 2012). On Thursday, in her third and final game of group C, the Avant-Garde player fought Mayar Rahal (Germany). As a result, a confident victory of a student of the Academy with a score of 6/2, 6/1.
